The historic village of Coltishall is found in the heart of the Norfolk Broads and became a location of note as early as the 16th century. Coltishall is one of five stops along the route of the Bure Valley Steam Railway, which runs between Aylsham and Wroxham and is popular with visitors to Coltishall.
In World War Two, RAF Coltishall was an important air base but was recently shut down. Many Coltishall residents hope that it will soon be reinstated.
