Worstead festival has become a half-century old tradition in this small village. Held in July, Worstead becomes host to live music, various exhibitions and a temporary market.
The monicker of 'Worstead' comes from the particular cloth, 'worstead', that was woven in the village and helped it to prosper during the middle ages. Worstead also features a grand church and the magnificent brasses that decorate the floor chart the town's history. Worstead station provides access to Sheringham and Norwich.
