Wroxham in North Norfolk is known to its inhabitants and to many in Norfolk as the capital of the Norfolk Broads and is the first place to go for boating holidays. Holidaymakers are catered for well with Wroxham's shopping, offering tea rooms, gift shops and hotels along the river.
The riverside in Wroxham is highly attractive, lined with thatched cottages and long gardens. There is also an abundance of wildlife and the river is shared by swans, mallards, gulls and geese.
If you want to really step back in time, Wroxham offers tickets aboard the Bure Valley Steam Railway that will transport you to the neighbouring Aylsham.
